ARCHITECT / PROJECT MANAGER

Airoom, Chicagoland’s premier design/build company, is seeking an experienced licensed architect/project manager for it architectural division.

  • Licensed architect with construction experience in single family residential projects, including high end remodeling and renovations.
  • Candidate must be capable of producing and directing production drawings for a residential design build team.
  • The position requires the ability to keep up with a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
  • 10+ years of field experience preferred with an understanding of residential framing, EMP’s and construction detailing.  Must be able to detail and/or direct framing details to junior staff members.
  • Ability to design, draw and interact with customers on small exterior portico/porch projects, bathroom remodels and simple kitchen remodels when needed.
  • Ability to manage other architects and drafts people to a schedule and time lines.
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction and field personal.
  • AutoCAD and Excel are required.  Experience with Chief Architect is a plus

Hours and Location:

  • Full time position

 Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential construction
  • AutoCAD proficient
  • State of Illinois, or equal, architect’s license
  • Experience with MS Office products, Word, Excel and Outlook a must.

In Home Sales – Exterior Home Remodeling / Makeovers / Siding and Windows

The Opportunity (At both our Lincolnwood and Naperville locations)

Elevations is growing its sales staff and has a unique opportunity for a talented in home salesperson with a good knowledge of exterior home remodeling. The salesperson’s main responsibility is to sell bigger ticket exterior makeovers including siding, window replacements and porticos with a strong design sense. In addition, the salesperson is also responsible for the preparation of the preliminary design and costing documents. These documents are developed through the input and assistance of our Design Development Department. Their support allows the salesperson to focus their efforts directly on the client and the sales aspect of the process.

 

If you owned or worked  as a salesperson in residential construction / remodeling, architecture, design or a related business and have experience with in home sales and have a strong leadership personality, this is an opportunity for you to develop and expand your skills. Responsibilities:

The salesperson is responsible for understanding Elevations’ business objectives and the following specific functions:

  • Develop design and cost estimate with the assistance of our Design Development Department
  • Meet quarterly goals and quotas established
  • Work 45+ hours per week, must be able to work evenings (at least 3) during the week and Saturday mornings (M-F work day starts at 10:30 in the office)

 

REQUIRED Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in an in-home sales environment.
  • Good knowledge of residential construction methods, practices and good design sense.
  • Experience with sales of large ticket, intangible items and knowledge of relationship based sales principles.
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional appearance a must.
  • College Degree in architecture, design or construction is a plus.
  • Any formal sales training and/or experience in a sales management role is a strong plus.
